11-21-14: First-in companies Engine 54 and Truck 20 had smoke showing on arrival from a large single family 2.5 story balloon frame structure. Fire was in the attic and companies were making an effort at getting to the seat of the fire when Engine 54 had problems establishing a steady source of water. Battalion 18 boxed this incident when water problems were reported, and once they secured a source, the fire was knocked relatively quickly.
