2-11 Alarm @ 1915 S Carpenter St
4-6-15: Engine 18 responded to a Still in the Pilsen neighborhood and landed on scene with a fire in a 3.5 story ordinary with exposure problems. Battalion 2 requested a Still & Box for heavy fire in the main fire building and exposure problems on Side D, which was a coach house, and Sides B and C. Homes in Pilsen are very close together. A 2-11 was requested a short time later after companies continued to fight fire in the rear of the main building and in the coach house. Tight streets made it difficult to get Squad 1's snorkel in position. Many Chief Officers responded to this incident as well including Commissioner Santiago.
