Working Fire @ 1426 S Ridgeway Ave

1/7/15: The West Side guys got their the second hit of the day (the first was a Still & Box + Plan 1 at 1514 S Kostner) around 1544 hours. Battalion 14 received a rundown for a working fire. Engine 38 and the Truck arrived first-in and found a fire in a 3 story occupied ordinary 25x50. The fire was on 2 with some possible extension to 3, but companies made a good interior attack to keep the fire on 2. It was bitterly cold, with wind chill temps as low as -10 degrees. Companies assigned to this fire were: E38 E109 T48 T32 BN14 RIT T26 BN13 SQ1 2-7-1 EMS A33 A34 4-5-7.
