Working Fire (Red X) @ 6409 S Laflin St

5-12-15: Around 1633 hours, Engine 116 landed on the scene at 6409 S Laflin and reported a working fire in a vacant Red X dangerous building. The building, a 2 story ordinary 20x40, had heavy fire on the 1st floor. Companies approached this fire carefully due to the compromised integrity of the building. Companies hit the fire through the first floor windows. A couple lines were stretched and the fire was extinguished in roughly half an hour.
