10/6/21- Heavy fire on the second floor and through the roof of a 2 story ordinary building, with a laundromat on the first floor and apartments above. Companies faced difficulties as fire quickly took ahold of void spaces and the cockloft. Squad 1 set up the Snorkel in the rear and operated an aerial master stream. Aerial Tower 8 as well as Tower Ladders 5 and 39 all flowed water on 31st St. Engine Co's 28, 29, 8, and 19 pumped. 2-11 was primarily requested for manpower relief.
