9/23/21- Fire reportedly started as an auto in the rear, but quickly spread to the rear porches of the nearby residences. Companies encountered quickly spreading flames which ravaged 1849 and 1851 S Western Ave, and caused damage to the exposure building (1853). Battalion 15 boxed the fire for additional manpower and the multiple buildings involved in fire. Numerous landlines were utilized, off Engine Co 23, 109, and 107. Note the car parked on the hydrant at 19th & Western, which Engine Co 107 managed to work around. All companies on scene got a lot of work.
